Mission and Ministries
As disciples of Jesus Christ we are called to be in mission and ministry to our local community as well as the world. These are some of the ways we take care of each other.
MCUMC is a Stephen Ministry church. This program teaches laypersons to provide one-on-one care for individuals facing a life crisis.
Tend My Sheep Haiti is an agricultural ministry working to develop a farm to grow vegetables, fruit, and meat to support local communities and to employ local workers to provide for their families.
The FELT (Feeding Empty Little Tummies) program works with a local elementary school to provide weekend food for children in need.
Karina provides emotional relief utilizing expressive arts and pre-vocational training for special gifted youth and adults.
UCAN is an emergency assistance cooperative organization designed by member-churches to offer financial and referral help to those in need in our local community.
Manna House continually add resources for their clients. Health care for the homeless brings their van weekly to 25th St. case workers help clients obtain valid identification, transportation to health care appointments, case management, showers and clean clothes and much much more.
Planet Aid’s mission is to inform, mobilize, and inspire individuals and communities to work together to bring about worldwide environmental and social progress by collecting and recycling textiles to protect the environment, reduce waste, and increase the efficient use of vital resources.
Offering wellness services & outreach to homeless individuals & families.
Coming alongside those who suffer from natural or human-caused disasters to alleviate suffering and serve as a source of help and hope for the vulnerable.
We are a consortium of churches providing emergency help for neighbors in need in northern and central Baltimore County and northern Baltimore City, supported by organizations, companies, foundations, and individuals in our community.
The Hopi Mission assists the Hopi community with food, fuel, education and other programs.
